where the wild things are.

Ryan and I rode our bikes in the dark and caught the midnight premiere of Where The Wild Things Are. {Midnight date!}

And all I have to say is: WOW.

Visually stunning, gorgeous soundtrack, and a story that will completely tug at your heart strings, can you believe that this book only has 10 sentences in it? And now, it's a full-length feature! There were so many moments throughout the story where I caught myself with a lump in my throat. There were so many instances when I felt goosebumps. But most of all, during the entire 94 minutes that we sat there, I was reminded of how wonderful life and love can be. And I took Ryan's hand in mine and never wanted to let go.

Well done, Spike Jonze, well done.

{WOW.}
