I did it.  I really did it.  I actually got out of Florida, a place I'd been desperate to leave for as long as I could remember.  I am really and truly out.  And it feels pretty damn great.

Moving is always kind of a weird feeling.  Putting your life in boxes and compartmentalizing all the important stuff you want to hold onto is a way of preserving memories and maybe even looking back fondly on quite a few of them.  Moving changes people.  It challenges them and tests their will.  I've been moving since I was a kid; moving has pretty much been de rigueur in my life.  And with every move, I feel changed, grown, and metamorphosed.

Spring is officially just over a week away.  The air feels different and time has even sprung forward.  Longer days are here and the temperatures are not quite so chilling.  It's no coincidence that I chose to move in the spring.  It was a deliberate and calculated plan to move at a time when the leaves are starting to come out and blossoms are starting to bloom.  The obvious symbolism in this is that I, too, feel an awakening.  There is something huge at my fingertips.  I haven't quite placed it, yet, but I know that it's there.  I've never felt so strongly about the positivity around me.  It feels like I'm about to embark on something huge.  It's only a matter of time before everything falls into place in the best way possible.
